This position will play a major role in the set up and function of the accounting function of the U.S. piece of a global, public company including, performing the accounting transactions, payroll, accounts payable and banking activities for the U.S. entity and the daily equity transactions for entire company. The position reports directly to the Global Controller and will be involved in the global consolidation process and the preparation of consolidated financial statements for inclusion in SEC reports. This role will also manage the monthly and quarterly close process for the U.S. entity, liaison with external auditors and will also play a role in the SOX and SEC reporting activities, as well as, equity for the entire company.
